A total of 440 participants (180 men and 260 women), all regular gym-goers and fitness center members aged between 19 and 64 years (mean age = 33.84; standard deviation = 10.09), were included in the study. Data collection adhered to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and received ethical approval from the Ethics Committee of the Polytechnic of Leiria. To begin the statistical analysis, mean and standard deviation values were calculated for each variable, along with bivariate correlations among all pertinent factors. This review will investigate current findings on mindfulness interventions and their potential to promote CPAP adherence and enhance sleep quality amongst obstructive sleep apnea patients.
